Cheyney Website and Brand Identity
The oldest HBCU in the country, Cheyney has a storied history; but recent years of declining enrollment and financial challenge threatened its continued existence. The Cheyney brand needed an update to correct audience misperceptions; to recharge pride; and to reflect a strong aspirational future. We updated their brand identity and devised a governing thought—“CheyneyMade’—that resonates with current students, faculty, and alumni. Landesberg Design partnered with developer Ezra Digital to transform a minimal website site into a rich, visually sophisticated, audience-driven user experience.
