Top-ten ranked Columbia Business School wanted a newsstand look and feel for their alumni magazine. Partnering with the CBS editor and Communications team, we set out to retool Columbia Business with these goals: elevate and expand the features through high impact visuals; signal standing departments with identifiable graphic cues; consolidate the departments to improve cover-to-cover pacing, balance, and structure. The new streamlined look comprises concise typography, polished photography, and compelling illustration to confirm for readers that Columbia Business means business.
