Crawford County Career and Technical Center needed to reposition their school to accurately reflect the advantages of experiential education, and to challenge the stubborn social stigma of “vocational school.” The name change capitalizes on the school’s colloquial name and proudly celebrates their high-level technology programs. The new visual identity pairs with aspirational, pithy language to highlight passion, skill, preparedness, and value.
Crawford forward inspires initiatives to stoke pride in Crawford County and strengthen community bonds with the business owners/employers of Meadville—alerting them that Crawford Tech grads are high-skill job candidates ready to fill workforce shortages.
