The Heinz Endowments awards grants to support educational, environmental, and cultural initiatives in Western Pennsylvania—and wants to spread the word about the good efforts of their grant recipients. This bright, well-written quarterly magazine reports on these projects with impact and appeal.
The magazine is a two-time winner of the Gold Wilmer Shields Rich Award from the Council on Foundations—the highest accolade available for communications by grantmaking foundations—and was selected for inclusion in the internationally prestigious Graphis Design Annual. We’ve designed h since its inception in 2001, including a refresh in late 2015.
