Piper Olsen - Landesberg Design

Piper comes to Landesberg Design from Actual Size, where she worked on print and web projects for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, and numerous advocacy groups. She holds a BFA in Graphic & Interactive Design from Edinboro University.

Piper’s strengths are in environmental design — including large, printed wall and window graphics — illustrative projects, and web design. Her work has been recognized by AIGA, UCDA, and the Public Relations Society of America.

Early fascination with design?

I was introduced to the concept of something being “designed” earliest by my mom, who is also a designer. But probably the earliest and most impactful memory is the recognition of the influence that way-finding signage has.

If I could move anywhere in the world I’d choose

I feel like I’m not well-traveled enough to be able to answer this with any specificity. Somewhere heavily wooded and near a big body of water.
