Piper Olsen - Landesberg Design

Since joining Landesberg in 2023, Piper has led design projects for clients including City Theatre, University of Pittsburgh Department of Theatre Arts, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Riverlife, Villanova University, The Peddie School, Hilltop Empowerment Collective, and Shadyside Hospital Foundation, among others.

Piper has a particular affinity for working in the cultural arts. Her strengths are in illustration, publication design, and brand identity. She holds a BFA in Graphic & Interactive Design from Edinboro University and her work has been recognized by CASE, AIGA, UCDA, and the Public Relations Society of America.

She became Landesberg’s self-proclaimed Vice President of Whimsy in 2026 and is waiting for the day that Michael lets her add that title to her business cards.

Early fascination with design?

I was introduced to the concept of something being “designed” earliest by my mom, who is also a designer. But probably the earliest and most impactful memory is the recognition of the influence that way-finding signage has.
