Tim Madle - Landesberg Design

Tim brings a strong conceptual approach and keen attention to detail to a wide range of projects, from print to interactive to illustration. His work has appeared in publications such as Communication Arts, Print, How, and Graphis, and has earned national awards from AIGA, the Art Directors Club of New York, the Society of Publication Designers, the One Club, and the American Advertising Federation.

Tim is a graduate of Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, with a BFA in Graphic & Interactive Design. Prior to joining Landesberg, Tim was Art Director at Design Army in Washington, DC, leading design and development of print and interactive projects for a wide array of nonprofits and arts organizations. His work at Landesberg includes projects for the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and The Pittsburgh Foundation.

The most important thing you’ve learned in your career?

We’re all in this together. Some designers view clients as obstacles, but once you learn to value them as integral team members with essential perspective and insight, everything clicks. When you can have open and honest discussions when challenges arises, projects can actually get better.
