Joe Petrina - Landesberg Design

Since joining Landesberg in 1998, Joe’s work for clients such as the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, Case Western Reserve University, and Reed Smith has earned national attention. His book design for The Carnegie Hero Fund’s centennial appeared in the prestigious Communication Arts Design Annual. Joe has a reputation for creating strong, inventive design solutions and giving clarity to complex information.

Early fascination with design?

I’d have to say those iconic logos by Paul Rand and Saul Bass. I grew up with them—they were even recognizable to a young kid.

If I could move anywhere in the world I’d choose

New Zealand. Majestic. Stunningly beautiful. It just seems like a happy place.
