Sam comes to Landesberg Design from Carnegie Mellon University, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Design; she also has a BA in Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining LD, Sam had experience working with Pittsburgh-area nonprofits: designing educational and marketing communications for The Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion at CMU, and supporting Pennsylvania Organization for Women in Early Recovery (POWER) in both client-facing and communications roles. Sam’s design approach balances conscientious research and thoughtful decision making with curious, unexpected, and joyful typographic solutions.
